Research

My research emphasis lies in interpersonal communication. More specifically, I am interested in identity negotiation and how we respond to discrepancies between the different facets of our identities. My secondary line of interest includes relational maintenance and the factors associated with these behaviors. I am particularly interested in the conceptual framework used to study relational maintenance.
